Your freedom is based on managers. HR will support managers even if they are wrong. So if your manager has decided to go with Micro management then you will have a hectic time. They don’t have a proper portal for internal movement. They will say that you will have to help yourself for internal movement and won’t encourage it. If you want to move, move out of the company that’s their idea. Many leaves the organisation just because of that.

Favoritism, caste politics, there are no consequences for bad behaviour, lack of professionalism and gossip is encouraged. It is extremely demoralizing to see incompetent people who are impolite being pampered over those who work sincerely for the company.

Dislikes

Won't have flexible work hours for a support role and am bound to work within your timings. Hard to avail of off on some days whether you have your CL/SL. The skills and learning set becomes saturated after a certain period. On top of the cons, you can enjoy the pros, and the cons differ from the company's internal team.
