Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

You'll get a good exposure to diverse projects.

Dislikes

They are highly polarised. There is a lot of politics in play. If you don't agree with their views they start dirty politics. Also, they discuss about political topics on trips and they can't digest diverse views. Promotion and all depends on favouritism and not achievements.
