New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Dislikes

Salary deducted for unknown reasons. No job safety. Work time is from 8:30am to 9pm. No overtime pay. No promotions if you work for 9-5. No proper senior management. Salary increment is not even possible. The aggreed salary will not be sent but PF will be in accordance to government rules. Absolutely horrible. Never join this company

One of fake company. I get placed from college placement . In offer letter they mentioned 2.4 to 3.5lpa . And 3 month only internship unpaid and 3 month offline they will stipend as 10k. I worked their around 1.3 years but for only 3-4 months their were given me stipend as 9k . No project nothing is there fully consultant , based on management choice they will allow you for other company interview. If your asking again again they will torture you and colleagues will misbehave with you. After frustrated if you asking only for internship certificate directly they will say whatever stipend I have given to you return that money.
