I don't like anything there. I won't recommend to anybody this place. Because Good salary is not all about in your life. Mental peace that helps you grow in life is more important. This is not my experience only, my collagenous had the same experiences.

The culture of this organization is like "If you join Young Lives-India, forget about your personal life." This organization is like family business, two people are running and all the employee have to work them accordingly. They often engage in conflicts with anyone they work with, constantly looking for faults only. Employee are expected to be available at all time (24*7) with no work-life balance. Managers often yelled, creating an environment that feels tense, as if arguments are happening frequently. They don't respect their employee, which makes it a challenging place to work. Most of the employee don't want to stay more than 6 months.

I don't like anything about working in this pathetic organization. They are very unethical people who take advantage of their 2-3 employees and make them work tirelessly. They literally make these 2-3 employees do the work of around 5-10 people.

Lets start with the basics: 1. There are three main people who run this organization and they mistreat their employees and other people in general (including waiters, cab drivers, servants). These three people feel that they are the center of the universe and everybody else is nothing in front of them. 2. There is absolutely no work-life balance in this organization. They don't mention in the interview that working hours will be extended, but once you land up there, they will make your life hell by giving unnecessary workload everyday. They would expect you to work around 8-9 pm everyday, and if we fail to do it, they will easily label us as inefficient and non-competent enough to stay in the industry. 3. They have the worst HR ever- she is less of an HR and more of an egoist and dominant person who feels that she is the real boss around. Literally over the past 1 year, more than 6-7 employees have left this organization within 3 months of working there. This clearly shows how incapable is their HR and how dissatisfying is the work culture. 4. Work culture is extremely draining. You have mental pressure all the time. They literally poke their nose into every little matter, for instance, you can't even take break for even 5 minutes, you cannot even take a 5 minute walk in between work, you have to immediately finish lunch and resume working because these pathetic people always keep watching you. The environment there is far from healthy and they expect you to even work from home after office hours as well. They have zero concerns for your health issues or any other physical concerns. 5. They don't make you feel welcomed in the company if you don't work as per their standards. They exploit you in the name of training you and saying that in this industry you have to work like this for the initial 10 years- which is basically the struggling period. They glorify the culture of overworking each and everyday. They create a pressurizing environment where even cracking jokes, talking on phone for even 1 minute, laughing is restricted, but they themselves keep talking loudly in front on employees and expect that we don't get disturbed by their chit chats and laughter. These companies have nothing to do with your good mental or physical health, they just know how to exploit people in the name of giving them employment and good salary. EY, Young Lives and many other companies are a perfect example of a toxic work culture and this also gives us a lesson that for them we are replaceable at any given point of the day. But for our family, we are irreplaceable. So please guard your mental and physical health at any costs. These companies are not deserving enough that we give up our happiness and our personal life for them. My friend warned me to join the company who was working here at that time but I ignored her warning and joined anyway. I learnt my lesson the hard way and I am writing it down so that you don't have to go trough the same torture as me. I hope you all never ever land into that shit organization in life.
