New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

... security is there if you keep doing your job and do not ask for anything extra. Salary on time.

Job security - Good

Dislikes

They never give appraisal and when you resign they will deduct all your money and give you a defame relieving letter. They never give bonuses extra money as an incentive if you work extra miles. They will just give a certificate. They will never give you a Diwali gift and bonus they will say it's in process. The HR team is the most irritating people they never answer any email.

... don't have any branch. They made many fake commitment about your career growth. Salary is also not satisfying! They can sack you as per their mood and will label you as an Absconding.

Dislikes

Everything! There is no Work-Life balance! Less Salary! NO benefits! They will not offer you Appraisal anyhow! NO JOB Security! No learning options! No Training! This company don't have any culture and management will make sure that you should not get satisfied.

It is a very good company for IT Services, I am working as a HR, but the company's workings, environment, Balance are very good and it takes lot of enjoyment to work in these type of cultures.
