... have long term plan for a company. Lots of work pressure and internal politics. Salary structure is worst, and no process followed by management.

...environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and management is transparent. Conpany policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Peers are not up to date with the current market standards.. The legacy apps are too old and the migration process is really slow. Improper planning, no proper design review.

Likes

Helpful team and managers (especially for freshers , they helped me with everything ) and flexibility to speak with anyone on slack(which was being used that time ) . Job security is there and more importantly the company has offices in many countries so I also interacted indirectly like in meetings , it was great to see people discuss about Smart TV and I learned a lot about the technology. Initially it appeared to me rocket science but in underlying structure I got to know that it is proper planning and logical coding (python etc) and extremely organized testing (test plan and automation testing ) .

Dislikes

I joined as a fresher and learned many things in a short span of time. I didn’t dislike anything . My managers helped me with learning Test plans as well as I learned about how the softwares of television that we have at home works. It was fascinating for me to learn about that since prior to that it appeared to me an abstract concept only.
