Not at all good for Engineers who are starting their career means 5-15 year’s of experience. If they continue for more than 1 year in kolkata then he will forget everything regarding engineering.

Work policies are friendly, transparent. Liberal attitude, Trust towards employees, Overtime allowance, Helpful colleagues.

Dislikes

There are many positive aspects, just one negative point but it's the biggest.. Dependency of Salary on Manhours. If you work in project and book Manhours, you will get salary and even Overtime allowance. But if there are no projects, no work.. You will be asked to apply/take leaves and once your leaves are exhausted, LWP!! (Leave without pay). This makes Worley not suitable for long term employment, because you never know when company will run out of work.. You will be effectively getting low or no salary at all. This is dangerous specially for people with EMIs commitment. Even you have to work on short term assignments which last for 2-3 weeks only, so they hardly boost your competency. However if you are working at a large office like in Mumbai where there is ample work, one can sustain. If there comes a long term project in Baroda office, It will be a decent company to work, as other work policies are quite employee friendly.

Dislikes

Holidays / Vacations not provided to India team, paid less as compared to industry standard, more pressure on India team to deliver, need to work sometimes for more than 12-14 hours (early morning call with Singapore/Australia team, late night calls with US / Canada team)

Company culture is good and will get a chance to work on international projects.

Dislikes

The main issue here in Worley is the Weekly Timesheet. Salary depends on this Timesheet. Timesheet is an additional burden for employees along with work pressure. For each and every work, management concerned about Timesheet. If the timesheet is less managenent will come up with questions which is sometimes too hectic for employees. Timesheet has to be little more liberal.

Dislikes

...d employee has to justify to discipline manager for lack of project billability. In some cases employee is asked to take leave without pay.
