You get a chance to work with people and students of all cultures; there is a lot to learn from diversity. It's spectacular in terms of surrounding beauty! The culture is more western so not so much a top down heirarchical attitude as a collaborative one. The perks are amazing if housing is covered for you, Then you also get free furniture internet, subsidized food, free tech support, free maintenance, free painting every 3 years, the perks are too many to count. The community is very supportive, and there are great opportunities to discover your hidden talents. Since a large majority of staff were expats (prepandemic) people tend to come and go, which brings new leadership styles, new concepts, new approaches. You learn from each person and don't stagnate. You also make friends from all over the world.
