Compensation and growth is very slow. The work pressure is very high every time. I have to work 10-12 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client clients call in the the evening and some time late into the night. Management do not value an individual unique strength. Also there is no job security and lost my job in pandmic situation Covid-19.

No work life balance They expect you to work even on weekends and holidays No comp off for working extra hours or days Very poor company culture No proper infrastructure in the office Work environment is very hectic They can make the employees work even after their releasing date.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
