Job security is better other companies. They don’t work on hire and fire basis.

Dislikes

If wipro is your first company, it is very difficult to get a competitive salary after 3-4 years or after that. Promotion is also very difficult to get. Even for laterals, they don’t get hikes once they hired( or it is too less)

There is job security, on time salary, good optional medical insurance for self and dependents. Lot of clients are there and process oriented company.

Dislikes

The compensation for external hires is really good and long time employees are not compensated at par with them. The difference is so wide that it affects the morale of the members working in the team. Onsite opportunities are now less than what it was earlier.

It's all manager driven. Have their own empires. Full of status quo. Quarterly appraisal are for name sake to make employees fool and make them wait till annual appraisal to give bad ratings and no hike.higly un professional

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager for something after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world..
