Dislikes

While people coming outside as lateral entry getting good package and salaries, old employees are not getting good enough Remuneration. High time to do the salary restructuring, atleast for the old and experienced employees

... into APAC projects. APAC projects management do not follow any policy of Wipro. Ither you have to salary in that project or by resign you have to get out. Their is nothing you can do. They will give you rating as per their wish not by office work. They will as per their wish whatever they want.

Dislikes

They show you their HR policy is very strong but ultimately HR will do as per project management. Company policy is good but no one follow that. Like Indian law it's their but everyone is do by their own and that's the main reason for higher attrition rate.

Likes

All Company policies are made to trouble the employees and gives direct benefits to policymakers only. Management - It's worst I have even seen in my 16 yrs of IT career. No one is bothered what challenges you are facing, what is your requirement to grow, what does you need to make work life balance. Absolutely no-one is bothered here.

Dislikes

No Additional Compensation or shift allowances even after working in UK or partial US shift and the irony is - your project manager will commit you that you will get shift allowances but HRSS and Payroll will deny the request. Absolutely no coordination or agreement between leadership and ground level people

Likes

The company is open to new ideas and innovation. There is a lot of scope to learn and grow for both fresher's and experienced people. The company culture is quite good and that teams are formed from various background having different levels of experience and aspirations. I also like the rehire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals' unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes as I have to catch up and meet my own assignments deadline.

Dislikes

Variable pay cheating. Old infrastructure. Poor IT department rotating old refurbished laptop. Bad food and beverages. Low pay. No growrh in role. No scope for job rotation. Poor bench policy. Slow or No Band progression. Incompetent manager's and political scenario. No hike.
