Overall a good company. The culture is really great and salary always comes on time. Job security is also good.

Dislikes

Appraisals are hard to get and not much to be honest. Skill development is also not possible as you are working on the same position for most part of your tenure.

Likes

1) Nice working shift I am working in general shift 12-10 (from 2 years) 2) Nice management and team leader

Dislikes

1) 5-6% increase in salary in whole 2 years 2) eligibility for first appraisal is in 18 months after joining your team 3) no monetary benifits if working late or extra 4) promotions criteria is huge mess ( only 20-30 post) but eligible are 150 people they make interview and other rounds and take 1 month for results and giving effective salary 5) not a big fan of starting salary here I was hired for 2.9 lpa and still after 2 years I did not reached at 3.5 6) 2 months notice period and then they need immediately joiners 7) no retention only fake promises to give

There's not much to like. You may like a few people you meet and other than that, the campus is nice. That's about it.

Dislikes

... day, move the cab at their convenience be it 1 hour after your shift has ended. Secondly, wipro doesn't pay you much. It surely depends on your job title but I would recommend going for smaller establishments instead of going after a big name because there's not much earning potential, also because it depends on your scorecard and your management. If your manager isn't happy with you, they will probably make sure your scorecard is bad so that you dont get any incentives. Lastly, the promotion/appraisal also depends on the scorecard. So if you have a bad scorecard, you're probably won't be promoted till you get a decent average score and if your process/department is changed then that will affect your scorecard too. So it's mostly a lose-lose situation at wipro.

Work culture is excellent in Wipro. They provide lots of facilities in the company. Every floor has the cafeteria and office is very clean.

Dislikes

They don't provide good compensation. The only good package that they have is at service center but in back office salary is very low. However, it's a good company for gaining experience.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow.
