Tutors Get a lot of potential students.

The payment structure over at Wiingy absolutely sucks. They taks $24 per hr from students and pay only Rs 400 or less to tutors which translates to less than $5 per hr. This is absolutely harrowing and they have kept it in such a way that tutors have no idea about this. Taking 20-25% commission is standard but they are paying less than 25% to tutors and taking more than 75% of the commission. As a tutor I feel cheated because I do most of the work tutoring the students. In no way does Wiingy deserve 80% of the amount for themselves and just 20% for the tutors. To all Wiingy tutors, fight for your rights, increase the hourly pay to alteast Rs 1000. That will atleast make it marginally fair for everyone. Company has a bunch of inexperienced people running it. They dont provide you a bare minimum descent salary even when they make you work alot. These people would fool you into a good work culture before joining and then impose their decisions on you without your concern. The managers are impatient and highly unprofessional. They turn you into sales person in the name of teacher, everyday they would ask you to make calls to parents for referral and upgrades every day. They dont respect or value you for teaching.

While working here has been a good experience overall, some aspects could need some refinement. At times employees are asked to stay beyond their working hours or asked to work from home after having completed the 10 hours of shift time. An employee can sometimes feel that the company is slacking on professionalism.
