Good company to work. Which have performance based good job security. Company policies are ok. Appraisals are fair with ok salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

Salary is good but growth is slow. Unresponsive culture, gender based diversity in focus which creates boundaries and restrictions to grow. Knowledge flow is limited.

... this is product based company. Company culture, work life balance is excellent. Compensation is a bit on the lower side. But i was very satisfied with the challenging work and growth opportunities. Onsite travel opportunities are also very good.

Compensation is on lower side from market.

Secured job, Whirlpool provides many facilities to employees i.e Transportation, breakfast, Lunch, employee discounts on products etc

Yearly bonus is deducted from CTC when other competitor gives bonus other than CTC

...like. There no salary structure is there for given role and level of experience. Had observed huge pay gap for same experience and role

Work life balance is good. U can get unlimited leaves if you are a permanent employee by fooling that you are WFH. This is what is going on in the company.

...have joined just since a month. That is what happened with 5 people in the team. They hired all of them at once in oct 2024 and fired them even before receiving the first salary. So if you currently have a permanent job then dont join whirlpool even if they offer you 50 or 80 percent hike, bcz they will fire you in just 3 months. This is a very serious thing going on in the company. They have fired 25 contracts employees in engineering team in Dec 24 by telling that they dont see any projection of projects. Also, they will not treat you with respect if you are a contract employee. You will never be absorbed by them in whirlpool bcz they dont even see whether the employee is actually skilled and can do work efficiently. So, this company is a huge red flag if you are joining as a contract employee.
