Walmart needs to step up with the pay for the amount of overworking they make their employee's do. The management is a joke and they all need to either be let go or do there job like they are suppose too. They also need to remove bonus money from management unless the store is doing good and the employee's are happy like it use to be. The need to return the bonus money to the employee's like it was before and they need to bring back holiday pay along with a bunch of things they took away from us. Walmart is a joke and needs to get it together. a

...rformance review process—biased and unstructured, leading to unfair evaluations. Minimal or no salary hikes, even after a year of hard work. - Hostile work culture—internal politics and favoritism lead to mental harassment and job dissatisfaction.

...fe balance. - Product Team in US so your expected to attend meetings late night. - No team outings in name of cost cutting , when asked to Managers they say atleasts you will have your job.

...omplaining against manager to HR and higher management, no action will be taken. Instead they will give you worst rating, 0% hike 0%bonus. And also in some cases they will try to put you on PIP then fire you. So don’t join this company. Also if your manager name to be Pradeep Gupta or your project going to be OMS, never join. He will make your life hell.

Dislikes

Lots of politics, compensation mediocre. They focus less on career growth and more on making noise. So it doesn't matter what one did, only perception. Walmart is not a tech company but driven by their business goals, so innovation is years behind peers and worst part about them is their internal tools which we are forced to use under the name of security. The cherry on top is the worst in class documentation of said tools. If one can handle demeaning, micromanagement, it does have great work life balance., but that would again depend on manager. Dont join if you have other options.
