Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

We have lot of projects, but lot of politics as well. Nepotism is more.

Dislikes

Cheap mentality manager and senior ps consultant are the Politicians in voxai and management blindly trust them and no gratitude to the employees who are serving the organization more than 5+ years.

Dislikes

Very poor work culture. They don't care about employees. HR policies and Proces is terrible, HR gives misleading promises or detials while hiring. They don't value employees work at all.
