Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

I made good friends there. Nothing is good about VIT

Dislikes

The whole work culture at VIT is so toxic. I did not even receive my salary for a month. Even I had to work on weekends, no over time was provided. I don't recommend to join VIT as a staff member

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year

Dislikes

The HR department keeping our vital salary and blackmailing to take those certificate for any further job interview. One of the clerk named Mr. Diwakar demands other favors to give it with two guarantee and salary withheld. The HR staff is torturing many faculties like anything and the management not taking action against him. Thus be careful and think twice before applying to this organization. Here don't expect any promotion in your life time as per the current policies.
