I had given interview there as HR Recruiter and BD person took my interview even, she did not bother to Schedule it by herself although I told her to schedule it from G meet which is easy & feasible but still she asked me to schedule it by my own self. I have schedule it after while ignoring her unprofessionalism. she was asking same question again and again after every 3rd question like what is your total experience. I mean was she psychotic?

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
