Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

please do not excepted such type of thing from this type of company. they are not supporting in normal situation so do not excepted anything in crisis.

Dislikes

everything is abnormal. unbalancing work life, have not appraisal system, they have not any fixed designation & they are unable to provide good working environment to workers
