Banks in general and VIJAYA in particular are not the best place to engage with. Poor work culture,worse work life equilibrium, poor pay package, high risk and almost the worst family life.

Dislikes

Discriminatory transfer policies. Missing quality of life. Inadequate compensation for responsibility and accountability. Frequent transfers. No scope and time for implementing any innovative ideas.

Likes

In the beginning salary is very less. No promotions.In 28 years 13 transfers to different places.Large amount of earning is spent on transfers. In the beginning we suffered lot. But afterwards we slowly adjusted to the circumstances. We can write much more. Not here.

Working with knowledgeable superiors with great experience and support is what makes one very proud to be a Vijayite. Now it is Bank of Baroda and one would equally be proud to be a Barodian. I served the Bank for 30 years and nine months and still would like to serve if there is any oppurtunity on contract basis.

Dislikes

it is equal to a temple of worship. Only hindrance is recent generation lot, 70% of them do not actually work. They are only interested in promotions, lacking working knowlege.

The best Bank ever. First in all innovations and latest technology. The quality of all the products was excellent... the best in the market. The Bank that provided best customer satisfaction. Quality employees... brought our the best among employees. The Bank that has produced many top executives who are presently MDs and EDs in various other banks. The Best ever and my First ever..... The Bank I love dearly.

Working long hours ... no scope for personal life .... working on holidays also....

High work pressure from branch head.i am only geting just 150rs payment per day. i am working from morning 9to6
