Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

people like this college if they dont have any self respect.This institute is filled up with idiots at higher positions.they are mad and they making us mad with their stupid decisions.they dont want a good teaching teacher they just need revision teacher.you are good to them when you make the students read and write q&a rather teaching. in the name discipline they are using the staff as security guards.

Dislikes

I have self respect whats why i dont like this college. Increments are another game here. Those people will give good increments to the staff who always praise them with or without reason. Im posting this as anonymous because still im working here and im planning to switch.
