The ample opportunities to grow especially working in an organisation that's there from 90 years and has a strong hierarchy, for young people like me is outstanding. They are people-driven organisation, they respect their employees. The team in which I work in, is very supportive and works around the core purpose of it's ideology and belief. The organisation overall is showing courage from a decade to stick to what it believes in, in supporting good education to be received by all levels of society.

Dislikes

The politics and laid-back attitude at some levels is something that is discouraging at times, but the core management team is always there to listen and support.

Likes

Vidya Bhawan Society started with a school in 1931, Udaipur, south Rajasthan. Presently it has 12 institutions: 3 schools, 3 teacher training college; post-graduate college and a Krishi Vigyan Kendra. The mandate of the institution is to provide education through good learning experience to the students from across the sections of the society. The institution maintains narrow and low fees bandwidth for its schools and colleges, though, the institute owes over 600 acres land in the prime location of Udaipur city, making it resources. The idea of preparing children as future citizens with the ability to make informed decisions, not only preparing children for only blue and white collar jobs, as the mandate of the organisation, made me work for the organisation for more than 20 years. The mandate of education as an output attracted me the most.

Dislikes

My family is shifting from Udaipur is the reason for leaving the organisation.
