Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The only thing that i liked about the company is a friendly nature of a CEO.

Dislikes

As i joined the company i was told there will be many facilities and opportunities in my future events, but after joining and many months passed i came to know that whatever the opportunities and facilities they told me was a fake promises. The work pressure is very high. Everyday we had to work for 10 hours and sometimes even on our weekly off i.e sunday we had to go. Also, there is no on job training for freshers for administrative dept.
