Vestas is a good company. But vestas Indian management is not good. They won't treat all the employees equally. There will be a partiality in corporate office employees and site engineers. They won't give much importance and respect to site engineers. Some of the site managers are more cruel and do politics to keep there position safe. They are not professionals. They won't here your voice. They won't helps you for your career growth. They always tries to keep you in same position even for several years. They won't give any person time for you after you finished your job time of 8hrs.. Always expect you to work and they way of talk is not good. Work life balance is too poor. They won't allow you to go home most of the time. In Vestas Chennai corporate office they have five working days and two week off in a week, for site engineer we need to work for six days in a week but we are most hard working people and far from home. They are frequently check work location for site engineer it will be too difficult for the employees who are married and having child. Career growth too slow.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

Better work life balance with continuous learning. Communication from Top management on company goals, financial figures everything well communicated.

Dislikes

Giving very min salary hike for those who promoted / switch internal transfer. Not even trying to meet min salary requirement.

Likes

Employee friendly HR policies, flexibility, excellent lateral movment oppourtunities with hike, iPhone with sim provided, 2-way cab facility, excellent work culture, no micormanagement, encourgaes to take vacation.

Dislikes

Not the best in terms of Job security, layoffs every other year, annual bonus not part of CTC hence not always paid unless company reaches internal target of profitability
