Working at Vedanya can be quite challenging due to the leadership style of the principal. She is found to be arrogant and lacking proper communication manners, she has no regard for the work done by others, everything for her is RUBBISH WORK (she constantly targets employees she dislikes and humiliates them personally as well as on group chats). However, the system works differently for the teachers she likes. The culture is toxic, disrespectful and full of politics. Additionally, the long-serving teachers appear to believe that they possess superior knowledge, leading to a culture where the new comers feel inadequate. Therefore the work environment at Vedanya international school can be detrimental to one’s mental health.

The company proudly boast about the culture during on boarding but it’s the culture that will lead you to leave the organisation as they are not able to maintain that. The work environment is toxic, which is led by a very toxic head of school who doesn’t even know basic manners to talk to people and she often uses loose language. There is no work life balance, and the atmosphere is extremely negative for people who want to put in their efforts as the work is neither appreciated nor acknowledged. Disrespectful language and gossiping behind, everybody’s back and talking about their personal life is quite common. Even the non-academic staff is a part of this gossip and spreading rumours and false talks about people. The team is full of unprofessional people who are not aware of their rules and their responsibilities. While you get a higher salary, your self-esteem will be lowered to a level where you will feel anxious and might fall into depression. Sometimes teachers they even cry because of the unprofessional behaviour. The head of the school lacks basic understanding of PYP curriculum which leads to a lot of confusion and frustration in the teachers working there. There are teachers who use their phones for scrolling Instagram and for taking personal calls in the middle of the class, which the parents are not aware of. When the employee decides to leave for such reasons, they are being portrayed as a negative and unprofessional.
