I have had the opportunity to start an internship at Vantage Market Research and it has been an incredible experience. From the first day, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and the positive work environment. The team is welcoming, supportive, and has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and resources to help me succeed. My team manager possesses an open-minded perspective and exhibits exceptional communication skills. She has consistently demonstrated her willingness to patiently and attentively address my questions and concerns. It has been a little over a month into the work and I can wholeheartedly say that throughout the internship I am being given an opportunity to work on a range of projects, from data collection and analysis to report writing and presentation. I appreciate how much responsibility I am being given, as it has allowed me to develop new skills and gain practical experience in the field of market research. The startup's focus on innovation and creativity has made it an exciting and dynamic place to work. I am routinely encouraged to think outside the box and contribute my own ideas which has made me feel valued and part of the team. Overall, I feel that my internship at VMR has been a fantastic experience so far. The skills and knowledge that I have gained will undoubtedly help me in my future career endeavors. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone interested in gaining practical experience in market research or in a startup environment.

Dislikes

While I am having a positive experience overall, there are a few downsides to the internship that I would like to mention. Firstly, the internship offers limited exposure to different industries. While the startup has a specific focus area, personally, I would have appreciated the opportunity to work on projects in a wider range of industries to broaden my experience. Additionally, working remotely means that I have limited face-to-face interaction with my team and colleagues. While we have regular virtual meetings, it is harder to build strong working relationships. Finally, there are limited networking opportunities available. While the company does offer some opportunities to connect with industry professionals, I would appreciate more extensive networking opportunities to build professional connections. However, despite these downsides, I still find the internship to be a valuable learning experience. The team is supportive and provides helpful feedback on my work, so that I am able to gain practical experience in various aspects of market research. Overall, I would recommend this work-from-home internship to anyone looking to gain experience in the field, with the caveat that it may have some limitations compared to larger companies with more extensive resources.

Great place to work! Management is very supportive. Home from home and flexible shift timings are the key pros of the company. Manager is very helpful and always ready to support.

there is a constant learning phase here; one works on various market reports, some time , 1 par day; it is hectic but a great way to master the domain quickly

Dislikes

The company has been consistently scaling up, and the number of incoming report requests is intimidating since there are not enough members in the team, work pressure is high most of the time. Also, the number of leaves could have been better.
