This is one of the leading newspaper of West Bengal in regional language. They are adopting modern technology very fast. Work environment is good and safe for all. Teammates and co-workers are helpful and good.

Dislikes

There is no training program, job security is not given, salary is minimum. But maximum work politics. One employee can easily manipulates his/her immediate boss and takes undue advantages.

Only you will get enough time to hae a work life balance

Dislikes

It's a commision based job you will never be able to make a good sum. You will struggle with it later. The senior employees have their syndicate so a new employee will have to struggle a lot to get buisness in their account.

Any qualified person can have an earning source with this company. Only lodging was provided at the time of 2015-16 for outer cities or states.

Dislikes

Very poor work culture. Very harsh behaviour of management. Very poor knowledge of workers. No culture of employees. Lori drivers & without qualification the operators are operating printing machines, maintaining machines. Because qualified engineers need to be paid as per their capability. Production manager is not highly technically sounded. Just qualified Printing Technologists, mechanical engineers do non technical works as like unqualified labours. No proper remuneration, no increment. Lot of politics by non-bengali & muslim workers with Bengalis. Newspaper are just being printed by non technical workers. Outside Persons have to attend only night shift. No rotational shifts. No work life balance, no leaves, no other benefits.

Everyday I used to learn new things. More specifically how to write soft stories, meeting new peoples, how to collect informations and wrap them into stories, the disciplined culture etc.

Dislikes

Favouritism, groupism... And unprofessional nature from seniors. The House always talked about to express the thought of gen-y in news stories. Although prioritized seniors. Newcomers are neglected, victimized by inner politics.
