I manage a team of 16 staff members.They are a group of talented individuals who adds great value to our team. Each staff member is asked to fill out a IDP which assist us as management/HR to send them for relevant job training and up- skilling. Part of our our package is provident fund and medical aid. We are also afforded the opportunity to study through form of bursaries. Salaries work on a grading system and we also go through a KPI review process. I have been afforded the privilege of travelling locally and nationally. I work in theme park and therefore environment is very energetic and vibrant with loads of unlimited fun, entertainment and edutainment.I have no problem balancing my work and personal time. The theme park that i work at forms part of the golden mile and one of the most desired entertainment spots to visit for national and international guest. Our city is currently involved in a massive project of upgrading and extension of our Durban beach front promenade and Point Waterfront development. This will encourage and attract new tourist and also increase footfall and revenue for our theme park.

Dislikes

Dealing with different race groups and cultures can become a problem, but if dealt with in the right way can become a great strength. Work pressure is high especially during peak seasons and equally high during low seasons because we have budgets and footfall targets to achieve.
