The best part about working here is one will get to learn a lot about drafting since it is basically a civil litigation dominant law firm. The other good thing is here everyone is helping each other and no one has to keep looking over his shoulder. It is a small boutique law firm so one has to do pretty much all types of work, that includes paralegal to drafting and pleading. Integrity and honesty are the two criteria they highly rate in this work set up.

Dislikes

There is not much to complain about this law firm. If I have to find one flaw about this law firm then that would be, majority of the work is related to property due diligence, so if someone not privy to the local language and does not like scrutinizing all the paperwork day in and day out then it is probably not the best place for you to start your career. Having said that, I would say this is a good place to start one's career with respect to the learning process and exposure to a different aspect of law.

Retention offer
Hello, Current offer from CG - Total 21.5L, fixed as 19.4 and rest bonus Retention offer from Deloitte - Total 19.1, fixed as 15.5 and rest bonus (4L) I understand the offer is less but my manager explained that Deloitte's hikes are better in the market and on an average, I can get 15% every year with good performance. The same hikes in CG are around 5-6% so financially, my salary growth will definitely be more in Deloitte. Please give me suggestions. I have good management and projects in Deloitte with WLB but I would like to have some perspective on offered CTC too
