Dislikes

No scrutiny of referrals from nearby Hospitals, many referrals lead to un necessary extra work load. Long 12 hours shift for senior residents reduces efficiency, no off days, except post night. Work load is mainly born by Senior residents. Post grads are not allowed to take responsibility independently in labour room areas resulting in overburden on SRs. Lesser Pg seats also increase Sr workload Due to overload mental health is strongly affected. More gyne cutting should be given to senior residents. Drinking water facility not available for a 12 hour long shift. Monthly 4-5 offs should be given to SRs which they can schedule at the start of the month with maintain a healthy mental and work balance. More opportunities for SS/ PDCC / international training opportunities should be available for SRs No gym or sports opportunities specially for female doctors.
