Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Products of the company are goods and with proper business policy, company can grab good market share of it products.

Dislikes

No proper policy, related to management, employee, appraisal, salary and moreover over ambition. If you join there, you will people has not received the salary from last couple of months. If you are a manager, then also there is a chance that they will tie you with financial constrains and ask you to deliver business from the market. This is not possible in the initial days of the business.

Good Quality of Products, Nice behaviour with staff, Location is also good. Product manufacturing process is very neat and clean

Some time i have to work till at 7:30, difficulty to maintain sales staff & management always demands high enthusiast and visionary candidates

Proper market policy given , training given to each and every employee , owners themselves get involved if there employee faces any problem.
