Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I get to explore my complete potential at Transition and I like that my seniors, take the example of our MD, believe in our work, which gives us the motivation to bring greater results. This is the most crucial factor which separates a startup of bosses from a startup of leaders. Certainly, we have good leaders at Transition.

Dislikes

Well, each organization has some scope for improvement but at Transition, at the moment, I guess all things are pretty much good.
