There are no particular dislikes but it's the e-commerce market that forces the company to make harsh decisions like layoffs.

Very good teams and great collaboration is there between everyone. Work life balance is very good

Salary and compensation are very different for same or lower years of experience people. It should be standardised.

No scrums No 1:1 code doesnt work on local placed in indonesian team, and zero communication even after pinging 'n' number of times. i should be realocated to indian team. zero knowedge transfer, zero communicaton. Project discussion is done by someone else, given to someone else, and then team doesnt reply. Pr review are done to show superiority. if you are in tokopedia , ping me I can show complete PR threads. I dont see a reason why after to much communication difficulty , reporting of indians are given to indonesian based team. Domains should be decided geography wise and form teams. I know I am going to be laid off Soon.

Strict five day work from office policy is an overkill in today's time esp. when majority of work in india is back office/tech Poor leadership in terms of growth and setting vision for the team

If leadership is right, then you can get challenging projects and good guidance on coding practices and in general best practices to solve any problem.

Dislikes

Company culture did not sit very well with me. Things vary drastically across different teams. One team you will get good of everything and in other, you might face micromanagement, work pressure, no work life balance and not that cooperative team members and team culture in general I found is either ok or bad. Not great.
