Excessive politics. No employee grievance forum. Managers are always right no matter what. Afraid to use latest technologies. Not much scope for learning or career growth.

Don't go as a fresher. If they say intership leads to Placements it won't happen. They recruit so many interns and kick everyone of them out. They recruit all them to get tax benefits to their company.

The work life balance at Tivo is pretty good. I haven't been to office since I have joined but the seniors, mentors, all are very helpful and inspire you at every step. Its been an amazing 1 year working at TiVo.

Working from home is tough but Xperi(previously TiVo) is very supportive from most of the aspects. Management takes care of the needs that we have before we even ask for it. They are even ready to go out of the box in needed cases which I like cause it gives a sense that company is not that strictly bound by it's rules. I am glad to have such supportive team mates. There are perks in working from office that I miss but at this tough time we can not do much about it.

Dislikes

There have been very less complaints like politics in few people. Management tries and takes care of it before it actually reaches to the employee and effect them but being a less employee's company it is never hidden from you even if it is not effecting you.

During covid time Tivo terminte my contract. So I can say that they were not at all supportive. I worked for Tivo for only 7 months and as far as I have understood they have terminated me because of the merge with xperi. Frenkly speaking a merge doesn't happen in a day.... So I felt a little bit cheated. Good work environment , team mates and managers were supporive for the work.

Dislikes

I dislike that they have terminated my contract only after 7 months and not because of my performance but because of the merge with xperi ... And as I said a Marge doesn't happen in a day! Moreover be terminated during covid time in a country in india and go back to my country is really difficult.
