Professional Training Program for women is revolutionary in Indian context especially in the Indian context but make sure the offices assigned are actually preparing the trainee for tomorrow or wasting her time also, if she is comfortable working there. Please be more connected after assigning offices.

It's really a good scholarship program from the Goverment of India for women with science and technology background, who had left their jobs to meet their domestic needs. Myself being a very ambitious women and with a hyperactive kid, was very happy when I got this opportunity to enter into the world of work force again. The team is very supportive, especially ED Sir(Prof. Prabhat Ranjan), Yashwant sir, Sangeetha mam. During our one month training we had eminent speakers from the World of IPR. After one month of orientation program we were placed across the co-ordination centre's and given on job training. I was placed at CSIR-URDIP and got an opportunity to work with Dr. Raj Hirwani sir, I gained experience on patent analytics and cleared patent agent exam during the program for which I was eligible for a scholarship amount of Rs 10,000. Each one of us we're allotted 2 herbal plants and we had to submit a technical report at the end of the training program.

The Program is just for one year and this I feel is a very less time for someone to gain good experience, (as many companies are looking for minimum 2 years of experience). When I was really in the edge to learn more, the program came to an end. I feel that TIFAC should place candidates in a firm or organisation, where they would be absorbed, by which both of them gain advantage. And the aim of this scholarship program would really gain momentum and stay meaningful. I have the capability and real ability to take up challenges, but I am back home and in square one "hunting for job". I think TIFAC should really think about "what after the on-job training for these women candidates". Otherwise I would Urge GOV@PM Narendra Modi to stop funding for such kind of projects, where a pool of unemployment is created.

Projects development on advanced composites with modest machinery is good. Authoured and published over 30 articles in magazines of national and international repute. Did a nice project on Gujarat Earthquake victims and Tsunami victims using products developed under my projects. These are shelters, community centres, fishing boats etc. were constructed and distributed to beneficieries through local govt tie ups.
