Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

.... You have to satisfied with only 5 %increment which is low from inflation rate. After 10 years your salary can't be double. Please don't join tp is trap.

Dislikes

Manager oriented company , manager got hansome incentives even working staff don't get for their hardwork. Managers using staff's shoulder for safety of own job.

...r the production and they don't compromise with the service and product quality. And they are very supporting at the time of covid-19 they the full salary without any deduction and start the work from home at the very early stage.

Dislikes

Overall my experience is good with the Thomson press but one thing i don't like that's politics in between the team.

...ronment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a hug cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling company policies are good appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year I need Job in Thomson press

... area There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is defend but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.😁
