The brand name makes people want to meet you which is a huge plus for reporters. People are really kind and understanding and mostly take it pretty easy. If you're a reporter and good at what you do , you get to enjoy the liberty of working on your own terms.

1. People are hired on the basis of personal connections despite a lack of skills. 2. The UX department solely works on favouritism and petty politics. It is clearly difficult for the HOD to separate personal bias and professionalism 3. There is no open-door policy. You might be toiling hard at work and your HOD wouldn't care to conduct any review to know what you are up to. 4. Despite the company's policy of flexible timings, there are different rules for everyone. HOD might have different rules for people as per her likeness towards each employee especially leads.

Working at ET for the last 1.5 years and the work culture is amazing. Management is very much employee friendly and they acknowledged your efforts with gifts and even thanks notes that comes with gifts. Never seen an organisation such humble that they thank you with a note of appreciation. Company policies are in the favour of employees. No time restrictions that you have to work for 9/10 hrs. Do your work from your comfortable space when you want. Just be responsible for what your KRAs are. No problem. Regular meetings to understand any inconveniences, requirements, help and support from the team etc are highly appreciated. Office infrastructure at Noida (as I work here) is amazing with high level of cleanliness and hygiene workplaces. You get special parking stickers to park your vehicle in the office premises (till -2 ground level). No worries of towing or theft. Everyone is very professional. Even the parking assistant, security guards looks like we'll trained on soft skills. Yes, talking about soft skills, you will find people very humble and we'll mannered. They don't shout or fight with each other. One can expect a peace of mind from all the mess that other companies can't afford to offer to its employees. But yes, please be serious about the work. They expect high level of accuracy and experience at work. And for this, all the rewards I've mentioned are worth it. Thanks

People don't leave ET. And that's why you don't find much space to fill the gaps. You keep working the same job for long time and very less chances to grow or expand your career skills.
