Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I would love to say that my experience is very good and atmosphere of The Chamber is the best for me. I have learned variety of things over there and also learn that how to handle hard situations. I improve my self there as I become more punctual and i feel the energy when i was working there. My teammates are very nice to me and very helpful. All in all, This is the best experience of my life.
