Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

..., there was a delay because if improper communication between the 2 departments. i felt this whole situation was somewhat toxic, especially at the time of salary they were just rude. speaking and demanding stuff in a rude tone.

Pls don't spoil you career joining this company.

Worst company, no vision for leaders, packaging development team doesn't know about what solutions needs to be given, lot of churn of clients due to bad service. Also once u leave the company they will take teir own time to settle the F and F ie it can go upto 60 days plus also. No proper travel policy. HR is pathetic.
