Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

...out selecting the candidate and the worst part is even package is not disclosed. When i asked that, the MD got pissed off and asked the hr to disclose the salary package. Then the hr said he'll check with MD about the salary and give a call back after 1 hour. It's been 8 days now. No response. I tried calling them multiple times. No response. I trusted these guys and waiting for close to 2 weeks, and they left me just like that. Please don't go for this company, i wonder will they pay the salary at the right time? These startups misuse human resource and they take employees for granted. They should suffer without proper manpower. Only then they'll recognise the value of every employee.
