Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The best part about working at ThatMate was being able to work in the mental health industry. Helping teenagers solve questions about puberty and other teenage mental health issues felt like I was bringing in a positive change and removing the stigma and taboos surrounding mental health. I got to work on a variety of verticals, which gave me ample opportunity to learn and grow!

Lack of professionalism, no proper salary structure, no payslip and employment benefits, irregular salaries, lack of transparency, no scope for growth, no proper team structure, and no job security.
