Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I love Tesla's mission to attain sustainable future. This is a great motivator and the work is satisfying. Tesla also encourages young talent to do creative things and not be afraid to take risks. Many things are done differently and out of the box. There's also no strict protocol to follow chain of command. You can approach anyone in the company to address concerns or suggest ideas. What matters is the advancement of Tesla!

Dislikes

The work life balance needs improvement. More structure is required.
