Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Company is quite energetic everyday feels like we are in war zone. Someday you will like you have conquer the enemies. Some feels like you have been conquered by them.

Dislikes

... they can call you up for work. Even on national holidays to come to the office. When it is time to get the salary, they won't pay you the overtime. They can fire you anytime. When you go for salary negotiation, they will not cooperate with you, but when it is time to resign they will say they are ready to negotiate but they won't do it indeed.
