Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The timings are good and teammates and Leads are nice

Dislikes

Hr is irresponsible, No proper procedure is followed. Hikes are taking almost 18 months since joining too slow. no incentives not bonuses. Overall not a go to company, needs lot of improvement to get recognised,hope they learn
