Insufficient trainings & support, limited growth opportunities, excessive unproductive meetings, underpaid & overworked, bullying seniors & favouritism within team, demanding work environment resulting in poor work-life balance, extending works (10-12 Hrs) on most days for meeting unrealistic deadlines, lack of recognition, promotion based on connections not on merits, biased performance reviews, too much focus on cost-cutting & constantly outsourcing repetitive works to contract companies, Job risk due to frequent org restructuring & high attritions.

Likes

The area of work for the Product development engineer is quite large and it gives ample opportunities to work in the different streams of PDLC. Lateral movement to management or engineering ladder is easier

Dislikes

Average pay is below market standards. Having the ownership of the whole product makes stretched hours a routine. Free thinking/ innovation is snubbed at many levels. Promotion and appraisal is not structured well. Promotions are delayed and appraisals are below market standards

Its great company for new learning and company keeps reinveting its process if it's not aligned to its vision.

India teams compensation is not increased that much for past three years which is major downfall.

Company has a great work culture and work life balance. If you are a fresher to the company, it offers huge learning with the quality of work in here.

Compensation is less for the amount of work we contribute for.

Other than sales , all other departments have a good culture and people stay quite long in this company. Automotive division is good to work in. There is chance of shifting abroad permanently.

Dislikes

Be very cautious about the salary offered, variable component for sales division is very high , which you have no chance of getting.The sales is a really tough job here , as the back-end support team is very poor(i.e: engineering & manufacturing teams are really slow, both teams have different reporting structures , thus very less accountability) , whilst competition is very nimble.
