Experience - 5.9 Tech - React.js CTC- 13LPA Current company - TCS Offer in the process - Nagarro (19LPA) My LWD is 24th May, but I told Nagarro I can be released in 30 days. Now, should I: 1. Be honest and say I can join on 25th May? 2. Commit to 25th April and request a DOJ extension later?(By telling them some emergency) Q1). If I choose option 1, is there a risk they won’t release the offer?(As I am being hired for a particular project, so will they go for some immediate candidates?) Q2). If I choose option 2, could they revoke the offer?(As the HR told changing the DOJ in released offer letter is not possible

Likes

Good work work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling.

Salary is decent but career growth is slow, yearly compensation is 7% for A band holders which not even beats the inflation rate of the country. They also charge for transportation. No health insurance for dependent members of family, charges extra.

Dislikes

... that too without giving them a seat or soft warning before deducting the money. Associates are losing thousands of money from their salary every month in the name of quarterly results or associates not working from office. I feel joining TCS at early stages will translate into delayed career growth which will result in lesser monetary value in overall growth.

Appraisal and promotions are not that good compare to other companies. Variable pays are also not getting what was committed in Salary. Also right people are not placed on correct job.
