1. Being an IT service company still work life balance is really good for most of the projects. 2. The training and development programs are also good and accessible to everyone in the company. 3. Huge project counts touching almost all types of technologies. High job security.

Dislikes

1. Poorest salary structure in the Industry, lowest to nil YoY increment. 2. Outdated appraisal process; Strong favoritism, and local community culture. One can not survive with only talent. 3. Often good work, client appreciation not considered for career progress. Oiling seniors is the key. 4. Bonus (pay) cuts are common culture. You wont get what has been mentioned in CTC. High CTC; high pay cut. 5. Hyper crowded workplace; visibility is to seniors is blurred.

job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

VARIABLE pay is SCAM, company pays only 25 to 40 percent of that amount. Extended working hours with not benifits. Incompetent management. Poor annual increment.

...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.

Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Dislikes

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.
