Salary structure for experience person are also very poor, I think they should think about it.

Appraisal and salary hike is super difficult, if you have worked for product company previously then definitely you wont like tcs for some reasons. Try to join tcs at the time you wanna get stability in life. 3 month of notice period could be a hurdle for you to find a new job

1. If you're in development project, exhibit a good working culture there is a lot of scope of learning 2. Work life balance will be good 3. Very good medical coverage policy compared to the rest of the corporates

1. Less salary than market standards 2. Poor appraisal, even if there was good performance the overall team performance matters 3.

I am giving Honest review after 8+ years experience in this company. Respectful work environment, Job security (at least until Ratan Tata Sir is here) Very very hard, but chance of changing your field & get into new team/project/technology within Company across India location. I said very very very very hard in terms of getting approval from your current project & HR team though!!

...ey - you may get quickly. 12-16% Salary hike when get promotion!! Seriously?!! 2-6% Yearly hike, which mostly goes to higher medical insurance premium or variable pay. So actual on hand hike is negligible. Most Imp - Recent changes in HR policies makes Job security of employees "subjective". Trust me days are not far when TCS will also fire employees.

You can have best possible job security possible and very less pressure, suitable for highly experienced employee to enjoy these.

Dislikes

Very low increment with very low starting salary, highly not recommended for freshers. Someone can easily earn this much working in a road side shop.
