...nd unnecessary pressure even you are working the medium management raise issues. The company didn't respect the talent and skills and pay very less but recruit the external skills at high pay . Large pay disparity between it's employees on same experience. Now forcing employees to change their cities even they have offices at particular location.

It's a first opportunity always special, good work culture and learning opportunities on various platforms, work life balance is good and it's depends on projects, maternity benefits, health insurance.

politics in appraisal process,low preference to women when coming to appraisal and promotion,salary is descent but not on par with market standards.

Likes

Employee friendly organization, plenty of projects to choose from if released from one. Great in terms of learning and experience. Work life balance is there. Job is secured.

Dislikes

Salary hike is very minimal. Existing employees are not valued even after spending most of their career here. Female employees after maternity break are considered liability rather than asset and their promotions are delayed for more years. Too much competition due to high population though opportunities are plenty.

Nothing, you will just learn business aspects. As far as technical side is concerned, you have to manage time and do everything on your own, not as advertised.

...ility. Don't trust the HRs, even though they specifically ask you to trust them. After i resigned, they will say they will give better compensation but they do not even give a rough figure and say they will give in writing once you take back your resignation, do not fall for this trap, it will never meet your expectation and always have some clauses. If you choose to resign, make sure you are mentally strong. They will keep calling you with different numbers and ask the reason for resignation and convince you to "Trust your HR", atleast 15 calls from different people in TCS. In the notice period they will kill you from inside and won't let you take leaves even though you are entitled to sick leaves and flexi. In short, don't join, look for better mass recruiters if you are thinking of joining TCS. 50,000 employees resigned recently, you can see the pattern here.
