TATA brand is having good repo, Job security and you can have backups as the tcs population is huge, good insurance coverage for family

Bad compensation, no promotions , yearly rise for top performers are hardly 6%, TCS should not be your first company infact it should be your last company to settle

Learning opportunities and resources. Broad variety of projects (that RMG won't let you access)

Management isn't updated with latest trends and technology. Low salary, low hikes, no promotions, no work life balance, wfh issue

Likes

The company has a very good management professional and HR to reach for the change of project or in any support. Good work culture. For skill development there is lot of opportunities either in digital applications or in IRC with some very good books.

Dislikes

Following the same hike percentage for freshers and lateral entry is not fair. Even after 8 years You could see that the person often switch has greater pay scale than the person who is loyal to TCS. In Promotions manager would play a political game there.

Have a earned leave concept which can be encashed after 30 - 40 leaves are collected. Good upskilling platforms are provided. Have a great company culture, you feel included , celebrate every occasion and quarterly team lunch or initiatives for outings are present where you can network and have fun with different teams. Have initiatives like fit 4 life and purpose for life.
